FORT WORTH -- Sue Atkins Kossler, 63, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Fort Worth.
Gathering for family and friends: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.

Sue was born April 17, 1949, in Winnfield, La., to Hansel and Chloe Mae Atkins. She was a kindergarten and first grade teacher for over 30 years and retired from the Northwest School District. Sue was always extending her hand to her students and families in need of support. A born and bred South Texas girl, Sue was an avid lover of animals, country music, and chicken fried steak.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jimmy Atkins.
Survivors: Daughters, Kristianne Kossler Nabong and husband, Mark, and Tracy Suzanne Kossler; and her brother, Johnny Atkins.
