Sue Roberts Crawford
(August 3, 1938 - September 16, 2010)

Mrs. Sue Roberts Crawford, age 72 of Winnfield, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2010 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

Mrs. Crawford was a native of Winnfield, Louisiana. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Faith Sunday School Class. She retired from Plum Creek and was a member of the Home Demonstration Club of Winnfield.

Mrs. Crawford was the daughter of the late William Roberts and the late Oleta Fox Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Julius Crawford.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Crawford Thomas and her husband Randy of Winnfield, two grandchildren Mandy Martin and her husband Paul and Casey Thomas, two great grandchildren Bailor Brown and Bryce Martin. Mrs. Crawford is also survived by three sisters Bobbie Williams and her husband Bob of Shreveport, Ann Brown and her husband Jimmy of Jonesboro, and Kathy Roberts and family of Houston, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with Reverends Stephen Laughlin and John Holland officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers will be John Thomas, Crosby Adams, Conrad Swilley, Stanley Martin, Phillip Wilkerson, Don Causey, and Dwight Callender.
