Sula L. Crum

Funeral services for Sula L. Crum, 85, of Jigger were held Thursday at Apostolic Faith Chapel with the Revs. Virgil Harris, Billy Martin and William Guimbellot officiating.

Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. Crum died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, a retired framer, and a member of Apostolic Faith Chapel. He also served with the United States Army during WWII.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jestine P. Crum, Jigger; children, D. L. Crum and wife Helen, Joyce Kincaid and husband Johnny, all of Jigger; Janice Jordan and husband Mike, Winnsboro; brothers, Nolan Crum and Huey Crum, both of Fort Necessity, granddaughters, Renne Free, Jana Thomas, Kristy Harris, Megan Goyens and Amber Jordan; grandsons, Darrell Crum, Todd Jordan and Tra Jordan; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, Hailey Free, and Joshua Harris; also a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Walter Lee Fowler, Woody Cauley, Lonnie Sanders, Webster Stephens, Billy James and Dallas Crain.

Honorary pallbearers were Cecil Crain, David Mayo, Bill Evans and Max Evans.
