Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Brooks Williams, 81, of West Monroe, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Kilpatricks in West Monroe with the Rev. R. A. Holloway and Rev. Willie Woodard officiating.

Burial will follow in Sibley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatricks.

Mrs. Williams died Sunday at a nursing home in West Monroe following a lengthy illness.

She is survived by two sons, Bruce E. Brooks, of West Monroe and Earl H. Brooks of Calhoun; one daughter, Mrs. Estha Calhoun of Calhoun; three brothers, James Arthur McDanile [sic McDaniel] and Fred McDaniel, both of Downsville, Cleve McDaniel of Calhoun; three sisters, Mrs. Alvie Foster of Calhoun, Mrs. Mary Johnston of West Monroe, and Mrs. Eula Simpson of Bossier City; eight grandchildren and nine great, great grandchildren.
