Susie Leslie Lassiter

Susie Leslie Lassiter, 98, of Waynesboro, died Nov. 3, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. Lassiter, a homemaker and member of Little Rock Assembly of God Church, is survived by two sons, Claude Odom and Melvin Odom both of Waynesboro, a daughter, Laverne Bishop of Waynesboro, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Lassiter was preceded in death by her husband Henry Lassiter, three brothers, two sisters, and her parents, William O. McCarty and Sarah Elizabeth McCarty.

Funeral services for Lassiter were held on Nov.5, at Little Rock Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Curtis Morris and the Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Internment followed at Little Rock Cemetery in Waynesboro. Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
