Susie Morris Masters

Services for Mrs. Susie Morris Masters, 82, of Columbia, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 1991 at Grayson Pentecostal Church in Grayson with Rev. David Mayo and Rev. W. H. Dunn officiating. Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home Inc. of Columbia.

Mrs. Masters died October 22, 1991 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Columbia after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Masters was a member of the Grayson Pentecostal Church where she and her late husband, Rev. A. B. Masters, Sr. served in pastorate from 1947 to 1983.

Survivors include four sons, Rev. A. B. Masters, Jr., Mr. James Masters, Mr. Odis Masters, all of Columbia, and Mr. Johny Masters of Hayward, California; daughter, Mrs. Flora Bell McCarthy of Jonesville, La; two brothers, Mr. Jeddie Morris, of Jonesville, LA. and Mr. Carroll Morris of Tallulah, LA.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Nugent of Jena, LA. and Louise Clark of Norwalk, California; two step-brothers and four step-sisters; 22 grand-children; 37 great grand-children; and 2 great great grand-children.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
