Sybil Patsy Weaver Dunn

Mrs. Sybil Patsy (Weaver) Dunn, 63 of Sikes, Louisiana passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at her residence.

Born Friday, June 10, 1949 in Natchitoches, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Weaver and the late Martha Paul. She was also predeceased by brothers, Henry Weaver & Arthur Ray Weaver; sisters, Helen Perkins, Sally Allen, Mary Elizabeth Barnes, Geraldine Thompson, Myrtle Kramer, Dorothy Lee Maggio and Magdiline Rogers.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Dunn; daughter, Jessica Kate Durr and husband Steven of Sikes, LA; grandchildren, Makayla Noel Durr and Montana Rae Durr; brothers, Roy Weaver & Archie Bryant; sister, Maggie Stroud all of Montgomery, LA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 7, 2012 in the Southern Funeral Home chapel with Reverends Greg Dunn and Kevin Womack officiating. Interment will follow in the Wright Cemetery of Sikes under the direction of Southern Funeral Hom, Winnfield.

Friends may visit with the family in the Southern Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6 from 5-8 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until service time.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Dunn, Virgil Dunn, Matthew Dunn, Kevin Weaver, Dewayne Weaver and Billy Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Thomas, Dixon Dulaney and Quinton Hidalgo.
