PAYAN
Sybile Roxane Connor Payan Roxane, on the evening of December 23, 2006, following a short, but very courageous struggle with cancer, passed into the fullness of immortal life and now abides in the mercy and care of our Heavenly Father.
Roxane, while ever marching to her own tune, made her debut just into Easter Morn, March 25, 1951, in Houston, TX, to the delight of her parents Joseph J.W. and Sybile Berry Connor. She was a devoted daughter, a loving, self-sacrificing mother and a hilarious sister.
Those who morn [sic] her passing are her daughter Kia Marissa Payan, sons Tatum Payan and Andrew Evans. Her Mother's love was deep and strong, but remember Kia, Tatum and Andrew, she would not have chosen to leave you. Her Parents, brothers James and David Connor, sisters Cynthia and husband Randy Hall, Faith Hamburg, nephews Joshua Connor, Jacob Hamburg, niece Casey McCrosky, and aunt Dimple Brinkus are richer in spirit for Roxane having been with us. Other relatives and numerous friends will long hold her in their hearts.
We wish to extend our gratitude for the many prayers tendered to God that Roxane's transition to peace be made an easy one.
Pastor Larry Beck will be officiating at a Memorial Celebration of Roxane's life Saturday, January 6, 2007, 1:00 pm, at Advent Lutheran Church, 5820 Pinemont Dr., Houston, TX 77092, 713-686-8201.
In lieu of floral offerings, the family suggests your benevolence be made to Advent Lutheran Church or Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.
