Mr. Sylvester Harrell

Funeral services for Mr. Sylvester Harrell, 85, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, 1996, from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Brandon. Rev. Grant McElveen officiated. Interment was made in the Holly Bush Cemetery, in Pelahatchie.

Mr. Harrell passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 1996, at Simpson General Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Harrell was a native of Rankin County. He had lived in the Barefoot Springs community for the past four years moving from the Luckney community. He was a member of the Tyrian Masonic Lodge #427 in Brandon.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Francis Lavern Harrell of Pelahatchie; two daughters, Panola Seaney of Ludlow and Lena Brewer of Pearl; two step-daughters, Clara Jean Harrison and Charlotte Nobles, both of Pelahatchie; one step-son, Larry Ingram of Pelahatchie; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren and three step-great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bobby Joe Williams, Charles Whatley, George Mullins, Walter Harrell, Ken Harrell, and Bobby Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Tyrian Masonic Lodge #427 F&AM in Brandon.

Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon was in charge of arrangements.
