Sylvia Anna Jeter

Mrs. Sylvia Anna Jeter, 98 passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Specialty Hospital of Winnfield.

Born Thursday, November 7, 1912 in Dodson, She was preceded in death by her father, Morgan Branch, mother, Rosa Elliott Branch, husband, Rev. Alson Jeter, and son, Bobby Joe Jeter.

Mrs. Jeter was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church of Tannehill, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Maurine Herlevic of Monroe, LA, brother, Jack Branch of Jonesboro, LA; 6 grand children; 11 great grand children, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday June 21, 2011 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, Louisiana with the Rev. Deloy Shows officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, near Dodson, LA.

Pallbearers will be Richard Herlevic, Marty Herlevic, Tom Scurria, Gregory Jeter, Doug Jeter, Dirk Leopard, Thomas A. Scurria, II (H), Vincent Herlevic (H), and Jordan Leopard(H).

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to time of service on Tuesday at Southern Funeral Home,

The family requests that any planned memorials be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church of Tannehill, LA.
