Aged Resident Of Gaars Mill Laid To Rest Tuesday
Remains of the Deceased Were Interred in the New Hope Cemetery

Gaars Mill, La. - July 23 - T. C. Kidd, aged seventy-two years and a life long resident of this community departed this life Monday night after an illness of more than two weeks. His remains were laid to rest in New Hope Cemetery Tuesday. A large number of relatives and friends were present. Services were conducted by the Rev. Patton of Monroe.

Mr. Kidd's wife preceded him in death just seven weeks. He leaves the following children to mourn his death: Mrs. Peters of Cedar Grove; Mrs. Brewer, Miss Della, T. C., Jr., and Victor of Dodson; Harris of Georgetown; I. B. and Grove of Sikes; and Mrs. Eldrige of Crowville, all of who were present. He also leaves a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
