Funeral services for Mrs. Taama Rhoten Galyean, 39, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2007, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Trey Albritton and Rev. Clyde Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Galyean passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007 following a lengthy illness. She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Bayou Oaks Baptist Church. She was a loving and caring mother, wife, and daughter. Mrs. Galyean was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rita Sikes; father, Buddy Rhoten; and paternal grandparents, Connie and Jim Rhoten.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Galyean; children, Brandon and Chris Galyean, all of Monroe, LA; mother, Velma Rhoten; sister, Bronwyn Crane; niece, Stacey and nephew, Matt Crane; brother, Spencer Rhoten and wife Jenny; nephews, Cole and Seth Rhoten; great nephew, Patrick Crawford, Jr., all of West Monroe, LA; mother and father-in-law, Wayne and Wanda Galyean of Oak Grove, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Pallbearers will be Matt Crane, Mike Crane, Russell Galyean, Blake Richards, Ty Seal, and Kelly Coleman.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
