Tama Jo Bridges
Tama Jo Bridges, 67, a native of Marthaville and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2011.
She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, John Bridges; mother, Betty Jo Hall; stepchildren and their spouses, Julie and Dr. Paul Jansen, Dr. Leonard and Rachelle Bridges, and Monte Bridges; five grandchildren, Luke and Jamie Jansen, and Holly, Danny and Tommy Bridges; sister and brother-in-law, Jamy Hall and Bill Grant; and nephews, James and David Grant.
She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Hall.
Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Feb. 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service at Baton Rouge Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4455 Jones Creek Road, on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m.
Tama Jo retired from a career of teaching after 23 years. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
