TAMMY SUE CURRIN

TAMMY SUE CURRIN, 48, of Humble, went to be with her maker January 18, 2008. Tammy, born August 28, 1959, in Monroe, Louisiana was a life-long resident of the Houston area. She influenced the lives of thousands of students in her twenty six years as a guidance couselor at Hambrick Middle School in Aldine School District. Tammy derived great joy from her family, time spent with her devoted husband Craig, and cheering the Astros and her beloved Dallas Cowboys.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents, Charlene and Buddy Evans, both of Monroe, Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband, William Craig Currin, of Humble; sisters, Marilyn Scalia, of Marco Island, Florida, and Janet Parr, of Hollister, California; sister-in-law, Brenda Vaughn, of Graceville, Florida, and Kay Peek, of Brownwood, Texas; nieces, Mallory Scalia, of Monroe, Louisiana, and Lisa Cook, of Dothan, Alabama; nephews, Brandon Vaughn, of Austin, Texas, and Daniel Scalia, of Monroe, Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 South Houston Ave., Humble.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2008, in the chapel. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
