MRS. W. J. JARRELL

OAKDALE (Spl.) -- Funeral services for Mrs. W. J. Jarrell, 67, of Oakdale were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the West Baptist church in Oakdale.

Rev. J. F. Lawrence was to officiate, and burial was to be in the Palestine cemetery under the direction of Ardoin funeral home of Oakdale.

Mrs. Jarrell died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday at her residence.

She was the former Tena Cooper.

Survivors are five sons, Carl A. and L. C. Turner of Oakdale, Alton and R. L. Turner both of Sulphur, and Jack Turner, of West Lake; six daughters, Mrs. Margie O'Banion, Mrs. Belle Parker, and Mrs. Yvonne Strange all of Oakdale, Mrs. Jerry Goodman of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Dovia [sic Dovie] Parker of Orange, Texas, and Mrs. Aline Tucker of Baytown, Texas; two brothers, Marshal Cooper of Mittie, and Luther Cooper of Pitkin; three sisters, Mrs. Polly Horton of Pitkin, Mrs. Lola Ford of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Delia Flannigan of Oakdale; and 13 grandchildren.
