Mrs. Tinnie Lusk's Rites on Saturday

LIBERTY -- Funeral services for Mrs. Tinnie Freeman Lusk, 80, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Brown Chapel in Liberty.

Mrs. Lusk, mother of Floyd Lusk of McComb, died Thursday at her residence on Route 1, Liberty, following a lengthy illness.

Born March 21, 1897, she was a native of Amite County, the daughter of the late Steve and Francis Wilkinson Lusk.

Survivors include her husband, Grady Lusk, Liberty; three sons, Floyd Lusk of McComb, Jasper and Eugene Lusk of Baton Rouge, La.; one daughter, Mrs. C.G. Shelor of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The Rev. O.C. Lanier of Magee and the Rev. Joe Ratcliff of McComb officiated. Burial was in the Terrell Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
