Thelma Faye (Ainsworth) Pace, age 91, of Jena, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009.

She was born to the union of James Franklin and Melissa (McClendon) Ainsworth on April 6, 1918 in Summerville, Louisiana.

Mrs. Pace is survived by a daughter, Nadia F. (Pace) Ferrington & husband James of Jena; a son, Howard R. Pace & wife Virginia of Lumberton, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus J. Pace; her parents; a daughter, Ada F. Pace; a son, Billy R. Pace; three sisters, Gertrude Davis, Nadie Zeagler, & Clodie Labespere; five brothers, Elisha Ainsworth, Roy Ainsworth, Steve Ainsworth, Baxter Ainsworth & Fred Ainsworth.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2009 and from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2009. Funeral service will be in the chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2009. Mrs. Pace will be laid to rest in the Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Summerville, La.

Pallbearers will be James Ferrington, Mark Pace, Seth Pace, Mark Ainsworth, Dick Zeagler and Ronald Burnside.
