Thelma Ruth Riddle

A homemaker and a resident of Baker, she died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Hospice of Baton Rouge's inpatient unit. She was 75 and a native of Natchez, Miss.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, May 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Cryptside service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum chapel at noon Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Huey Moak.

She is survived by her husband, Roy W. Riddle, Baker; two daughters, Deborah Riddle, Dubberly, and Barbara Barrett and husband Jonny, Albany; son, David Riddle and wife Adrienne, Baker; sister, LaVerne Reeves, Baton Rouge; sister-in-law, Vivian Whittington, Sulphur; 10 grandchildren, Krystal Rushing, Richard Fredericks, Michael Jarreau, Carmen Fuqua, Melissa Marmolejo, Jonny Barrett, Jessica Barrett and Justin, Joshua and Jared Riddle; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and a brother.

Pallbearers will be Justin, Joshua and Jared Riddle, Martin Redmond, Robert Bonds and Daniel Ory.

She was a member of Foster Road Baptist Church.
