Thomas Butcher

MINDEN -- Thomas A. Butcher, 69, died in a Shreveport hospital Sunday after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Lester Hunter and the Rev. Jerry Roaten officiating. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory.

Survivors are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. R. W. Coleman of Burns Flat, Okla.; three sons, Thomas A. Butcher Jr. of Minden, Jimmy David Butcher of Taylor, Ark., and Ronald Bryant Butcher of Dubberly; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Booker and Mrs. Thelma Cardino, both of Natchitoches; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
