Mr. Thomas A. Butcher, Jr.

MINDEN, LA - Services for Mr. Thomas A. Butcher, Jr., 61, will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 1990 at Rose-Neath's Minden Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Eddie Clement, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Minden. Burial will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery.

Mr. Butcher died Friday, October 26, 1990 at Schumpert Medical Center following a short illness. He was an engineer for the K.C.S.L. & A. Railroad, a member of the Southside Baptist Church and the B.L.E.& F.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas A. Butcher, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Dottie Butcher of Minden; his mother, Nellie Butcher of Dubberly; his father-in-law, Elton Sprayberry of Fouke, Ark.; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy A. and Cathy Butcher of Minden; one daughter and son-in-law, LaDonna and Jim Davis of Minden; one sister, Barbara Nell Coleman of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two brothers, J. D. Butcher of Homer and Ronald Butcher of Dubberly; seven grandchildren, Kristie Woods, Clint Woods, Shane Woods, Jamin Butcher, Rachel Butcher, Reid Butcher, Jennifer Butcher; one step-grandson, Steve Davis; one great-granddaughter, Courtney Woods and several nieces and nephews.
