Final Rites Today for Resident, 55

Thomas P. Chaddick, 55, of 2915 Jackson St., a butcher at Foley's Pioneer Barbecue Restaurant at 4456 Youree Drive, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in the restaurant following a sudden illness.

He was a native of Haynesville, but had resided in Shreveport 20 years.

Survivors are his widow, his mother, Mrs. Anna Lou Chaddick, and a son Cluade [sic Claude] Chaddick, all of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Sowa, also of Shreveport, and Mrs. Cora Archard of Haughton; one brother, W. H. Chaddick, Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. R. E. Carson, Minden; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. H. M. Prothro Jr., pastor of the Haughton Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park.

Pallbearers will be Welby Stahl, Arlis Palmer, Bob Carson, Billy Foley, J. C. Allen and Joe Bailey.
