BOGALUSA, La. -- Thomas Carl Freeman, 72, a Liberty native who resided in Bogalusa, died Oct. 30, 1990, in Bogalusa Medical Center.
Visitation will be 5-10 tonight in Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home of Bogalusa. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Poole-Ritchie chapel. The Rev. Ed Jenkins will officiate. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday in Hollywood Cemetery.
Catchings Funeral Home of McComb is in charge is in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Freeman was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Liberty. He was the son of Marion Freeman and Hattie Jane Lusk Freeman.
He was a railroad welder and a member of Brotherhood Maintenance of Way. He also was a former resident of McComb.
Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife, Mavis Dean Freeman of Bogalusa; two sons, Larry Freeman of Baton Rouge, La. and Kenneth Randall Freeman of Bogalusa; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Mamie) Smith of Salsbury, N.C.; one brother, Lewis Freeman of Lexington, N.C.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one stepgranddaughter.
