Thomas Cleveland Freeman, Jr.
Thomas Cleveland Freeman, Jr., age 33 of Oakwood Circle, Lexington passed away unexpectedly Monday (August 9, 2010) at his home. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Thursday (August 12, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Dave Ambroso and Rev. Richard Johnson officiating.
The family will be at the home of his parents, 320 Virginia Dare Drive, Lexington.
Thomas was born July 29, 1977 in Wayne County, NC to Thomas Cleveland Freeman, Sr. and Jane Hanes Freeman. He was an employee of Joyce Engineering, Inc. in Greensboro and a member of Paul's Chapel United Church of Christ. He was a 1995 graduate of East Davidson High School, 2003 graduate of UNC Charlotte with a BS in Civil Engineering and a graduate of GTCC with an Associate degree in Land Surveying-Civil Engineering. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Rachel Freeman, J.H. Hanes, Jr. and Linda E. Hanes.
Thomas is survived by his parents; Thomas Cleveland Freeman, Sr. and Jane Hanes Freeman of Lexington; grandmother, Linda W. Hanes of Lexington; great-grandmother, Hazel W. Hanes of Lexington; aunts and uncles, Steve and Shelby Freeman, Dwight and Jan Freeman, Roger and Kay Moorefield, Penny and Rick Canady, all of Lexington; Richard and Sandra Johnson of Monroe, Gwendy Hays of Duncanville, TX, Steve and Tonya Walker, Avery Walker, Donna and Ronnie Duggins all of Lexington and a host of cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
