Thomas Deveal Richmond

RICHMOND, Thomas Deveal -- June 14, 1918 to June 23, 2002. Thomas D. Richmond of Santa Clara passed away Sunday, June 23, 2002 at his home at the age of 84 years.

Born June 14, 1918 in Jena, Louisiana. Thomas was a resident of Alameda County for many years before moving to Santa Clara. During WWII Thomas was in the US C-Bee's. He was a Past Mason, graduated from law school and was a self-employed Private Investigator.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Evelyn A. Richmond and his two brothers and his two sisters.

He is survived by his three sons Thomas C. Richmond of Austin, Texas, Wallace E. Richmond of Washington State and Steven Richmond of San Jose, California and eight grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Friday, June 28, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., in Hayward. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
