Services Held For J. Day Sr.
Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Day Sr., were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in the Goetz Chapel.
Rev. James Martin, Assembly of God Church, officiated. Burial was in Duggar Cemetery.
Mr. Day resided at Rt. 3, Box 200, Seguin. He had lived in Seguin for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thomas J. Day Sr., Seguin; one son, Thomas Day Jr., Seguin, one brother, Joe P. Day, Waco; and many nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers were Alfred Beck, Willie Egnew, Willie Hoermann, Cecil McKinney Sr., Eddie Johnston and Pitts Springs.
