Funeral Services for Thomas King Bowen, 73, of Cleveland, Texas will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with the Rev. Gene Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Bowen was born on August 11, 1940 in Sour Lake, Texas and passed away peacefully on November 30, 2013 in Cleveland, Texas. Thomas was a longtime member of Mims Baptist Church in Conroe.

He is survived by his loving family: Mother, Mary Ellen Graham; beloved wife, Berta A. Bowen; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky Bowen Carroll and Jim and Melania Bowen Doland and David; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Susan Bowen; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Keith Wright; uncle, Jerry King; grandchildren, Candice Faith Cole, Sarah Elaine Cole, Kaitlyn Brooke Carroll and Alyssa Rose Carroll; great grandson, Wesley Charles Hawkins; numerous other dear relatives and caring friends also survive.
