Thomas Perry Barber
Graveside services for Thomas Perry Barber, 84, of Longview will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at Antioch Cemetery in Panola County with Chaplin Roy Pope officiating under the direction of Lipsey Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Barber died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at the Highland Pines Convalescent Center in Longview. He was born Jan. 29, 1920 to William and Vernie Carter Barber. He was a Baptist and had lived in Longview eight years. Mr. Barber was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherlyn Barber Wozencraft of Little Rock, Ark., and Katherine Barber Edds of Lonsdale, Ark.; one son, Thomas Andrew Barber; one sister, Lois Capps of Carthage; two brothers, Vernon Barber and James Barber, both of Longview; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
