Minister Dies In DeRidder; Rites Pending

DERIDDER (Spl.) -- Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Rev. Thomas F. [sic Thomas S.] Cooley, 75, of Route 1, DeRidder, who died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at his residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday from Beauregard Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Garland Weeks officiating.

Burial will be in Beauregard Cemetery.

Rev. Mr. Cooley was pastor of Three Pines Pentecostal Church east of here.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Cooley; two daughters, Nona [sic Nora] Cooley and Mrs. Wanda Seale, both of DeRidder; four sons, Carl Cooley of DeRidder and Maurice, Dale and Dallas Colley, all of Lake Charles; two half-sisters, Mrs. Sevella Martin of Pitkin, Mrs. Della Harper of DeRidder; five half-brothers, Anderson, Patrick, Roy, Bateman and Oliver Cooley, all of DeRidder; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
