THOMAS WALTER [sic WESLEY] DEW

LEESVILLE, La. -- Thomas Walter [sic Wesley] Dew, 55, of Hornbeck, died at 3 a.m. Thursday in the Methodist hospital in Houston, Tex. He was a civil service employe at Ft. Polk.

He is survived by his wife, Letha Savell Dew of Hornbeck; one son, Thomas H. Dew of Zwolle; one step son, Walter J. Brown Jr. of Starks; three step daughters, Mrs. Bessie Self, Mrs. Alice Lam and Mrs. Mary Conally, all of Hornbeck; three brothers, Luther F. Dew and Marion Dew, both of Toro, and Talmadge Dew of Leesville; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Chambers of Ruston, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist church at Many. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction [of] Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
