Services for Thomas Watson Hearn Sr., 85, of 3120 Exposition Ave. will be at 11 a.m. today in the Willow Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Campbell, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall Street Chapel.

Mr. Hearn died Thursday in Schumpert Medical Center following a short illness. The Atlanta, Ga., native was a retired postal carrier and member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and a WW I army veteran. He had lived in Shreveport 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, May Peters Hearn of Shreveport; three sons, Thomas W. Hearn Jr. of Shreveport, Dr. George Earl Hearn of Pineville, and Dr. Robert Ethiel Hearn of Ruston; one sister, Grace Hearn Ewing of West Monroe; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Charles Goodrich III, Grady Barber, O. B. Williams Jr., James Harold Williams, James Chambers III, Houston Thomas, Faye Peters, and Rev. Eugene Spruell.
