NATIVE CITIZEN EXPIRES HERE

Final Services Conducted for T. W. McDaniel

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irby McDaniel, at four o'clock Tuesday after-noon, April 23, for Mr. J. W. McDaniel, age 70, a native citizen of this county.

Mr. McDaniel was born in the Deadwood community on March 18, 1870 and passed away April 22. The deceased is survived by his wife, two sons, Irby of Carthage; and Crawford of Conroe; and one daughter, Mrs. W. C. Hughes of Longview, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four sisters and one brother.

Rev. V. G. Garrett, pastor of The Central Baptist Church delivered the funeral message and the Hawthorn Undertaking Company was in charge of last arrangements. Interment followed the funeral services in the Odd Fellows cemetery in Carthage. Pallbearers were A. F. Clark, W. H. Donald, Price Fannin, J. O. Harrison, Harold Odom, and Wayne Barnett.

Mr. McDaniel was a lifelong member of the Baptist church, and lived the entire span of his fruitful years in Panola county.

The Panola Watchman extends sympathy to the surviving members of this well known family.
