Tom D. McCarty

COLUMBIA -- Services for Tom D. McCarty will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Riser with the Revs. Herman Savoie and James Carson officiating. Burial will be in Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson.

McCarty, 50, of Columbia died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, in his residence.

He was a hospital administrator having worked at Union General Hospital, Farmerville, and Glenwood Regional Medical Center, West Monroe. He was a member of McClendon Baptist Church of West Monroe. He was active in basketball and tennis at Caldwell Parish High School.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Causey McCarty of Columbia; two sons, Joe McCarty and Will McCarty, both of Columbia; his mother, Hila Mae Adams McCarty of Columbia; one son, Adam McCarty of Monroe; one sister, Rebecca McCarty Clausen of Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Darden, Glen Richardson, Stan Bond, Dexter Adams, Lonnie Bayles, Joe Maggio, Jack Wright and Benny Douglas.
