PLOVANICH, TOMMIE MOTT

Died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1988, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 65, a native of San Antonio, Texas, and resident of Clinton. She was retired from LSU Cooperative Extension Service and served as East Feliciana Home Demonstration Agent for 35 years. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Clinton, 10 a.m. to religious services at 1 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Randy Hawkins. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Clinton.

Survived by a daughter, Kimberly Plovanich Morgan; a granddaughter, Tara Treen Morgan; a grandson, Jacob Reeves Morgan; all of Clinton; and three sisters, Mrs. W.M. (Alice) Thomason, Ashland, Ky., Mrs. Elizabeth ``Betty'' M. Smith, Baywood, and Mrs. J.B. (Elsie) Zachary, Baton Rouge.

Preceded in death by husband, George Matt Plovanich; father, T.J. Mott; mother, Bertha Treen Mott; and a sister, Helen Mott Bannister.

Pallbearers will be Darryl and Steve Zachary, Benny King, Richard Cmiel, Clay Crowell, Clay Samson, W.J. Haydel and Zach Hatcher. Honorary pallbearers are John Paul Duke, John R. Rarick and Bro. Junior Hawkins.

She was a member of Clinton Garden Club, Eastern Star Chapter of Clinton, and Alexander Sterling DAR.
