Tommy ``T.C.'' Crum

Funeral services for Tommy ``T.C.'' Crum, 83, were held Saturday at the chapel of Community Memorial with the Rev. Floyd Townsend, the Rev. David Mayo, and the Rev. Willie Parker officiating.

Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. Crum died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, a retired farmer, and founder and member of Fort Necessity Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Crum is preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Crain Crum, brothers, Edgar Crum, Ray Crum, J.C. ``Buster'' Crum, Earl Crum, Odell ``Irishman'' Crum, and Lonnie ``Smokey'' Crum.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Burris Crum, Fort Necessity; children, Linda Jones, Winnsboro; Lynette and Roy Wall, Fort Necessity; Tommy Lynn and Robin Crum of Florida; step-grandchildren, Barbara and Ricky Barton; Byron and Nancy Burris, all of Winnsboro; brothers, Sula Crum, Pete Crum and Huey Crum, all of Fort Necessity; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Christopher Crum, Ron Wall, Gary Max Jordan, Ricky Crum, D.L. Crum, and Terry Crum.

Honorary pallbearer was Raymond Roberts.
