Tommy DeLaughter

JACKSON -- Services for Tommy DeLaughter, 56, of Jackson, who died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. today at Rosemont Gardens Chapel.

Burial will be at Rosemont Gardens under the direction of Rosemont Gardens Funeral Home.

Mr. DeLauughter was a native of Winser [sic Wisner], La., and a former resident of Natchez, but lived in Jackson for more than 30 years. He was the owner of Dan-Michael's Salon in Jackson. He was a mason and a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Mississippi Barber's Association. He was a former member of the World Championship Hair Styling Team.

Survivors include one son, Michael DeLaughter of Ridgeland; two daughters, Lisa Taylor of Byram and Darla Tucker of Nashville, Tenn.; his mother, Rosa-Lena DeLaughter of Natchez; one sister, Peggie Faye Rushing of Natchez; and three grandchildren.
