Services for Mr. Tommy Ray Nichols, 54, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 13, 2005, at the Jackson Street Church of Christ with Joe Owen and Don DeLukie officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. Mr. Nichols died on January 10, 2005.

Mr. Nichols was a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Nichols was a member of the West Monroe Civitan Club and the Ouachita Parish Civil Air Patrol. He was a coach with the Dixie Youth Baseball and took three different teams to the World Series.

Survivors include his son, Colby Ray Nichols; sister, Jeanette Morgan and husband Jim; nephew, Michael Blake Morgan; uncle and aunt, Percy and Lois Nichols; aunt, Margaret Dunn; special friend and companion, Elizabeth Barron; and cousins, Gwen, Sonny, Phillip, Harold, Rodney, Elaine, Kay, Johnny, Sue, Karen, Tom, and Joy Lynn.

Pallbearers will be Danny Bone, Jack Armstrong, Michael Clinton, Mike Walsworth, Ricky Norris, Jerry Cook, Mike Har vey, and Rodney Traweek. Honorary pallbearers will be the West Monroe Civitan Club, Dr. R. Guthrie Jarrell, Jim McConathy, and Matt Shepard.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Tommy Ray Nichols Scholarship Fund at Louisiana Tech University.
