Mrs. Kesterson

Mrs. Tommye Louise Kesterson, 72, of 3001 Poplar Street, died Tuesday at Jefferson Hospital. She had been making her home with Mrs. Thelma Durham.

A native of Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Hattie Dunn Cooper. She was reared in Bradley County and moved to Pine Bluff and started working for Barre's Department Store. She had operated a number of restaurants here including Tommye's, the Hob Nob and Casanova. She had also managed country clubs at Pine Bluff and Stuttgart. For the past 12 years, she had been a sales clerk at the Cloth Shop.

There were no immediate survivors.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary by Dr. John McClanahan. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Oakland Cemetery at Warren.
