COALGATE (Special) -- Tony Francis Wilson, resident of Coal County for 70 years, died Monday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Sherman.
He was born June 16, 1866 in Springfield, Mo. A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Wilson was a retired rancher.
Mr. Wilson leaves four daughters, Misses Adah Wilson, Addie Wilson and Leta Wilson, and Mrs. Myrtle Sherman, all of Coalgate; a son, Beecher Wilson, Coalgate; two foster sons, George Vigie, Bartlesville; and Ira Vigie, Twin Falls, Idaho; two brothers, A. J. Wilson, Coalgate; and Pastor M. L. Wilson, Fort Smith, Ark.; and a sister, Miss Margaret Wilson, Coalgate.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church. Pastor George Reid of Stillwater will officiate. Cooper's Funeral Home of Coalgate will be in charge. Burial will be in McCarty Cemetery.
Nephews, Paul Wilson, Riley Wilson, Wilson Hill, Jack McCarty, Truett McCarty and Eddie Cox will be bearers.
