GROVES--Travis Emmons, 78, of Groves died Wednesday at St. Mary Hospital.
A native of Center, he lived in this area since 1942. He was a retired projectionist for Martin Theaters and Jefferson Theaters with 45 years of service.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Emmons; a daughter, Mrs. Runald (Shirley) Ducote of Groves; a son, John Emmons of Port Neches; two brothers, Ray Emmons of Houston and Hugh Emmons of Rosenberg; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
