New Orleans Pilot Dies in Memphis Plane Crash
Memphis, Tenn., Oct. 3 (AP). -- Pilot Trell Messenger Manley, 42, was killed today when the army airplane he was flying crashed and burned during a routine flight from the municipal airport here.
Manley, a bachelor, came to Memphis last May from New Orleans. He formerly was a factory representative for a radio manufacturing company (Philco).
The body will be shipped to Cleveland, where two sisters live, for burial.
