Troy A. Erskin

Final rites were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Troy Alson Erskin, 79, who died Tuesday in a hospital here after a lengthy period of illness. The funeral was at First National Chapel, Winnsboro, and burial was in Lone Cedar Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Macon and the Rev. Brown Brown officiated.

Mr. Erskin, who resided near Winnsboro, is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Evie Johns, Mrs. Jessie Cruse and Miss Sarah Erskin of Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Visia Brown, Clarks, and Mrs. Edna Cruse, Winnsboro, and two brothers, Everett and Alvin Erskin, both of Winnsboro.

Pallbearers were Durham, Willie and ``Bo'' Erskin, Gene, J.W. and J.E. Bennett.
