Troy P. Crum
Troy P. Crum, 86, of Gloster, died March 26, 1999, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La.
Visitation is from noon today at Brown Funeral Home until services at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. James Roberts officiating and the Rev. Roy Crum assisting.
Mr. Crum was born May 28, 1912, in Amite County. He was the son of Wiley Crum and Florence McCalister Crum.
Mr. Crum resided in Baton Rouge, La., for 29 years before moving to Gloster. He was a retired foreman with Delta Southern Co. of Baton Rouge. He was a member of the Gloster United Methodist Church in Gloster.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Myra JoAnn Crum; and two brothers, Edward and Pete Crum.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Edna Anders Crum of Gloster; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dub Fortinberry of Baton Rouge; two granddaughters, Debbie and Donna Fortinberry, both of Baton Rouge; a grandson, Richard Fortinberry of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers, Roy D. Crum of Baton Rouge and Homer L. Crum of Ethel, La.; two sisters, Verlin McDaniel and Perlin [sic Pearline] Dawson, both of Natchez, and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him.
