Troy Sikes, Native of Winn Succcumbs In Little Rock, Ark.

Funeral services were held in North Little Rock, Ark., Feb. 14, 1952 for Troy Sikes, 45, who died suddenly of a heart attack. Rites were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Owen W. Morgan, at the First Baptist Church of which Mr. Sikes was an active member. Burial was in the Edgewood Cemetery.

Mr. Sikes was a former resident of Sikes. He was a graduate of the Sikes High School and the School of Pharmacy at Atlanta, Ga. He was employed by Morris Dickson Drug Store in Shreveport until going to North Little Rock six years ago, where he was co-owner and manager of the Sikes-Hough Drug Store. He was married to the former Miss Eloise Hough of Minden.

Pallbearers were George Wasson, W. S. Miller, Jr., William Owens, O. B. Yaeger, Kenneth Price, and Neal Tisakerly. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Pulaski County Pharmaceutical Assn., and all doctors of North Little Rock, Ark.

Surviving are his widow and one son, Arthur Troy, North Little Rock, Ark.; his father, J. W. Sikes, Dodson, Route 1; two brothers, Arnold Sikes, Winnfield, and Grady Sikes, Houma; four sisters, Mrs. Troy Adams and Mrs. Clyde Taylor, Dodson, Rt. 1, Mrs. Tommy Chaddick, Shreveport, and Mrs. Dave Simmons, Sikes.

Among those from Louisiana attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Sikes and Nellie Faye, Winnfield; A. L. Sikes, Jr., Ruston; J. W. Sikes, Mrs. Troy Adams, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Parker, Dodson; Mr. and Mrs. Prentice Hough, Minden; Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Prince and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Goslin, Shreveport; and Mrs. Helen Bridges, Springhill.
