Troy Y. Malicoat

REPUBLIC -- Troy Y. Malicoat, 65, Republic, died at 7:24 a.m. Thursday in Cox Medical Center North.

A machinist, he was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was a life member of V.F.W., No. 2293 of Ash Grove, a life member of the Blinded Veteran's Assoc. and a member of D.A.V.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a son, Kelly of Aviano Air Force Base, Italy; three sisters, Lucy Surby, Springfield, Carrie Roush, Ash Grove and Shirley Taylor, Republic.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Greenlawn North Funeral Chapel with Rev. Claude Barclay officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Military graveside services will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 3404 and 963 and American Legion Post 676.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Vernon Veteran's Home.
