Truman G. Walley

Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Funeral Home in Leakesville for Truman Gray Walley, 93, of Leakesville, who died May 31, 2009, at Greene Rural Health Center.

Burial is in McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery in Leakesville.

Mr. Walley owned a dry cleaning business. He was a former member of the Leakesville City Council and the hospital board. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a Mason.

He was preceded in death his wife, Ovetta Walley.

Survivors include a son, W.V. Walley of Fruitdale, Ala.; and a daughter, Melba Jones of Carthage; six grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
