TULON EASTER DESMOND Jr.

DESMOND, JR., TULON EASTER, 82, died Monday, May 3, 2010, in Tuscaloosa after a brief illness.

Mr. Desmond was born October 18, 1927, in West Blocton, Alabama. A graduate of West Blocton High School, he attended the University of Alabama and served in the U. S. Army. He was a long time resident of Birmingham, Alabama.

He is survived by his nieces, Mary Eugenia Phifer and Patricia Roberts Steele and her husband Tom, all of Tuscaloosa; his parents Clara Desmond Morrison and Tulon Easter Desmond; and his sister Mary Logan Roberts predeceased him.

A graveside service was held at 2:00 p. m. on Thursday, May 6, at Schultz Creek Cemetery in Bibb County with Father Jerry Deasy officiating.
