Tyler Alva Fielder
Tyler Alva Fielder, 88 of Little Rock went to be with the Lord after an extended illness on April 8, 2009. He was born April 1, 1921 in Guy, Arkansas to the late Alva H. and Minnie Tyler Fielder. In addition to his parents, Tyler was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Marie Jefferson.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Alene Powers Fielder, a daughter, Ruth Ann Munsey and her husband David, three grandsons, Lloyd David Munsey III of Fayetteville, Samuel Fielder Munsey of Little Rock, Mark Tyler Munsey of Fayetteville; one sister, Mildred Williams of Searcy, one brother, Bill Fielder, nephews, Terry Jefferson, Richard Jefferson, Phil Williams, other relatives and many friends.
Tyler lived in Searcy for many years where he retired from AP&L. He was an active member of First Baptist Church, Searcy, Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock where he was a member of the Pinnacle Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to the building funds to the following churches, First Baptist Church in Searcy, Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, and Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy preceded by a private family burial. The family will recieve friends following the Memorial Service at the home of Phil and Patty Williams, 11 White Oak Circle, Searcy, AR.
