U.B. Butler
U.B. Butler, 85, a native of Louisiana and resident of Yukon, Okla., died Sunday, July 20, 2003.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Frank Butler of Midwest City, Okla., and James Butler and wife, Leslie, of Houma; one daughter, Freda Walker and husband, Mike, of Yukon; one brother, Jack Butler of Houma; two sisters, Gloria LeBouef and Virginia Wallace; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his parents, A.L. and Annie Butler; two brothers, Sammy and J.B.; and one sister, Mildred.
He was an oilfield construction superintendent for J. Ray McDermott Company.
