Mrs. T.C. Walton

Mrs. T. Cooper (Velma) Walton, of 316 Robinhood Road, died Wednesday afternoon at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center after a long illness.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Broadmoor Baptist Church. Burial: Lakewood Memorial Park with Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are her husband, T. Cooper Walton; two sons, Tom Walton and Mark Walton, both of Jackson; a daughter, Mrs. J.W. Ray of Holly Springs; her mother, Mrs. Lucius Arrington of Brookhaven; two sisters, Mrs. David J. Van Landingham of Jackson, and Mrs. P.H. Santmyer of Plainview, Tex., and three grandchildren.

A native of Brookhaven, Mrs. Walton had lived in Jackson for the past 28 years. She was an active member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and a graduate of MSCW.
