Velma Lee Wilson
A native of Collins, Miss., and resident of Livingston, she passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Flannery Oaks Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. She was 94.
Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, Thursday, Oct. 13, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes Friday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. until funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Wayne Mack. Burial in New Red Oak Cemetery, Livingston.
She is survived by her daughters, Virginia McDonald and Elouise Stubbs and her husband, Charles; sons, Paul E. Wilson and his wife, Betty, Jerry H. Wilson Sr., Harry T. Wilson, Norwood Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Bill Wilson and his wife, Dale, and David Wilson and his wife, Allie; 33 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlon Rufus Wilson; son, John T. Wilson Sr.; granddaughter, Lisa Triplett; and grandson, Craig McDonald.
